  • 4 tablespoons Civilized Coffee Espresso Powder

  • 3/4 cup heavy cream

  • 2 tablespoons of butter

  • 10 oz. bittersweet chocolate, chopped finely.

  • Unsweetened cocoa powder for coating (chocolate sprinkles optional)

RECIPE

  1. In a large saucepan, heat cream, butter and Civilized Coffee Espresso Powder on medium heat. Stir frequently. Turn off the heat just before it begins to boil and stir with a whisk.

  2. Pour heated mixture over the chopped bittersweet chocolate and let sit for one minute. Whisk together for one minute until chocolate and cream are combined and smooth to create chocolate ganache.

  3. Pour the chocolate ganache in a baking pan and allow to cool to room temperature. Place in the refrigerator for an additional 30 minutes.

  4. Cover a baking sheet in wax paper. Using a small scoop, form round balls of chocolate. Roll into even balls with your hands and place onto the wax paper. Return baking sheet with chocolate to the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
